Alana was able to lend her voice to multiple projects recorded by Mason Vellios at MV Studios. Starting with Mason’s recording of his graduation recital for Composition at WAAPA, as well as a small radio commercial for the mobile electronics company ‘Audiocom’.

As part of a passion project, US based singer-songwriter Bob Williams decided to write an album with his friend, Australia-based Fred Wehr. Fred reached out to Alana to add some backing vocals to one song on the album titled “Wheels”. Click here to visit Bob’s website to keep up to date with the release of his album and Wheels!

The WAAPA Gospel Choir was formed by WAAPA V0ice Lecturer in 2015 from the desire to celebrate Gospel-Style voice types. Alana was fortunate enough to be a part of the group from 2016-2019. During this period the choir was involved in many exciting recording projects; they recorded their own version of the gospel hymn ‘Lily In The Valley’, the choir have also been part of the recording of tunes from artists such as Coin Banks and Drapht. WAAPA Gospel Choir also recorded their first original song as a group titled ‘Lead Me Home’ released on 21st December 2017.
